K so im 13 and i want to start shopping?
Question: i always want to start shopping with friends and not go with my mom. but she says no. how do i convince her that its my money and that i should be able to buy clothes that she doesnt pick out and buy with me cause kids are teasing me at school cause i only have 2 pairs of jeans, and my shirts are ugly!! help!
Answers: That's the thing, you are only 13. Maybe if you two could compromise on some of the clothes you pick out. You don't know how many times I see a girl and say how did her mother let her out of the house dressed like that?! . I think that is what your mother is trying to avoid. it would be good though is she would let you but another pair of pants.
