Answers: Well, it was really stupid to drink and drive and you are lucky that you only hurt yourself! Your sister loves you and wants to make sure that you learned you lesson!
That being said.... no one likes it when their mistakes are constantly shoved in their face. Set your sister down and tell NICELY tell her that you know what you did was stupid, you made a mistake and you have learned you lesson, you won't do it again and her constantly making fun of you/reminding you of it, is hurtful to you and you would like her to stop.
Then don't do it again!
ha! you definitely shouldn't have done that. i hope she keeps bothering you and you get it through your head that it's NOT ok to drive after drinking...no matter how much you've had. too many previous lives have been lost..................... :(
she cares , be glad you don't have to go to MADD meetings to hear about what happened to them bc of drunk drivers....i did. <~~ got caught and dwi
Tell your sister that you appreciate that she is worried about you and what happened but what you need right now is sympathy and not a lot off I told you so's .
you deserve whatever she tells you
Tell her to grow up and stop acting like a baby
can I have my way with her too
do you realize what you did was wrong? then sit her down & compromise w/her.
Don't let nothing come between you and your sis, stay together for always,.
I have twin daughters and one got pregnant at 15. They are 16 now. The baby is 4 months old. The twin that didn't get pregnant now boasts that she is the perfect one . It really hurts the other one.
Have your sister read a book called Co-Dependant No More by Melodie Beatty. She is trying to control your choices since she believes you can't do it on your own. She is wrong to do that, I agree.
Now having said that, I am still on your sisters side. You chose to drive your car after drinking, & look where it got you.
Now you said that you admit that you had a little too much to drink That suggests to me that you are in denial about driving drunk. You find it easier to admit to a little too much than you do to being too drunk to get behind the wheel of your car.
You also are minimizing your injuries just a few broken bones, & stitches
You are lucky that the only other casualty was a utility pole.
Just before Christmas, a young mother was killed by a drunk driver in our community. She was just jogging on the sidewalk when the drunk came up across the sidewalk, & hit her so hard that she flew another 50 ft & her body crumpled in the side of another car that was parked stationary in it's driveway.
Now some kids have no mother, & the life of the 25yo driver is ruined.

Your sister was frightned by what she witnessed when you had your accident . The fastest way you can shut her up is to give her assurances that you will NEVER DRIVE DRUNK AGAIN.

The best way you can assure her of that is to stop drinking alcohol PERIOD.
If you find that you can't stop on your own then seek treatment for your addiction. If you are shocked that I am suggesting that you have a problem with alcohol then you need to give the possibility some consideration.
You have made some bad choices concerning you, & drinking. That's where alcoholism starts.
Good Luck!
tell her to shut up
