Do girls tend to know more about what's going with their family than guys?
Question: Do you think girls know more about the gossip in their family circle more than guys? If so, why?
Answers: Absolutely. They talk more. They want reassurance, so they discuss things with their mother and sisters.
I have sons and daughters. My sons might not tell me if they get a new job, or start dating someone. My daughters tell me if a boy asks them out, where he's from, where they're going, and what they're wearing.
I expect to find out my son is dating when one day he tells me he's engaged.

Not my sister. She's too self absorbed. Infact at our last family gethering, she got upset because she hadn't heard something and my mother remarked that she needed to call home more often to hear about things.
Well, when you can't even get a guy to notice when his mother/sister/wife has changed their hair, I think it's safe to say it's too much to ask that they be more on top of what's going on in the fam than the women.
This is true. Girls can't stop talking. When they run out of stuff to talk about they make **** up. Guys only do that we we are drinking, are drunk. And around family, that isn't often. Girls just talk, talk, talk, talk, talk.....

Yes, because women are a lot more codependent than men are. They are constantly talking to their relatives, especially their mothers every day - they talk for hours about every little minor thing, so of course they know everything about what goes on in their family. Men don't need to know that kind of detail - there's more to life than being all up in your loved one's business every second of every day!

And as it turns out, females brains are better at using language. Their brians tend to show up on MRI's revaling bright areas all around the brain, not localized, when language is in use. Whereas men's brains tend to light-up in smaller areas of the brain, but those areas glow very bright in an MRI. This indicates that the males are very good at focusing on one 'enemey' / 'target' at a time - (aka compartmentalized thinking)
