Who was raised by a stepmom that you didn't get along with?
Question: how did it affect you?
Answers: I still loathe the evil monster and it has stressed my relationship with me Dad. I don't get to see him nearly as much as I wish I could, but other than that I have turned out pretty normal.
So my cousin was like that and the stepmom was a total *****
I wasn't raised by my stepmom and i never lived with her. I was raised by my mom. But me and my stepmom didn't get along. If i would call my dad, she'd be in the background talking to him at the same time. She'd make him deal with their baby just to get him off the phone.
I'm 29 now. And i no longer speak to my father. I have come to realize that it was him who didn't want me in their lives. She wasn't completely innocent, but, it was him.
Anyone who is having step parent problems need to give it some hard thought to realize if maybe your parent is a part of the problem, that it isn't just the evil step monster.
I lived with my step mom and dad as a young child and it was hell.She was very very mean to us.It affected me till I was 19 yrs old but then I realized there was nothing on one could do or say to change what happened tome as a child.Also I knew I was in charge of my own happiness.I don't speak to her or my dad now as my dad never helped my sister and I out.I really don't think he believed us when we told him what had happened to us.Good luck sweetie.If your a kid there are people that can help you.Start with your family if they don't help you go to your school and talk to a trusted adult.I was to young to really ask for help as I was only 5 but your old enough to use the computer your old enough to stand up for yourself.Good Luck!
