What help you the most when you lost a loved one?
Question: i lost my grandma and she was like a 2nd mom to me and most of the time i am fine, but when the time is right...idk why but i just cry all day
Answers: Sorry to hear of your loss.. The only true help is Time....as it passes it will get easier but, until then think of the good times. Remember that she would want you to enjoy your life and not sit there crying over her. Take peace in knowing that she has no more pain, no more heart ache....and she will always be with you. Cherish her memory and you will feel her love always.

I'm sorry for the loss of your grandma. I lost mine in 1993 and she was like my mom as well. What helped me was reading books on death and loss. I also did things for my grandmas memory. I donated money and time in her name. I went to the Church and lit a candle for her soul. I also am going to make a scrapbook about her life. She was very special to me as your Grandma was to you.
Also talking with your family about funny things that your grandma did or said... being able to laugh while reminiscing helps.
I have lost both of my parents and there are times it is harder than other days. I cry when I need to cry, I remember fun things about my parents, I talk to someone that remembers my parents, I talk to God. Good luck to you and remember you are never alone.
It is cool to cry and have a grieving period after losing a loved one. It is very normal. Faith in God helps a lot!!! Don't hold your tears in...it is an emotional release you need right now. Time cures all...in time things will be better. Just keep remembering all of the good times and smiles...that is the gift she left to you. No one can ever take your memories.
So remember...laugh, cry, smile and grieve...until it gets easier.

I lost my man 9 yrs ago. We have two kids together. It gets better to move on with your life with time, but sometimes I'll just break down and cry, for instance: on his birthday, on the day he was found dead, on my kid's birthday, etc., etc.
It takes time. Time is of the essence, but you have to move on and keep those memories alive, girl.

I'm going through the exact same thing. Except my Grandma was like my mom. I lost my Grandmother almost two weeks ago from lung cancer. I just try to keep the memories in mind and try to think about her not going through pain anymore. She's with the rest of her family that has passed in previous years. It's ok to cry its a normal part of grieving, but what really helps is knowing that the Bible tells of a resurrection of righteous and unrighteous ppl and that in the future u may be able to see ur grandmother again if u develop a really close relationship with Jehovah.....
That usually helps, just remember that u shudnt expect to get over it right away, just allow urself to go through the process...
I pick somewhere they used to like to go - a park, a city, etc and go there. Then I ponder the virtues of that person, and how I can adopt those virtues to make myself a better person and keep their memory alive that way. Then I keep their memory alive for the rest of my life.

I am a medium and so I have had experiences that have proven to me that life goes on beyond the grave. Know that your Grandma loves you and her love doesnt die. She can see your tears. She wants you to smile and know inside your is part of her. She will be there in times of trouble. When you pray to God also pray to your Grandma. She will help guide and protect you. One day you will be with her when you are very old. Right now is your time to prove to her that she has done right and brought up a healthy happy young woman. Close your eyes..she is part of you. She is in the wind, the sun in nature and most of all part of God. Rest assured she knows how much you love her.
having people around you that love and care about you is the best way to deal with this. take some time to grieve. remember the good things about your grandma and share them with others. this way she can live on through you. this should lessen the trauma of her being gone. hope this helps. good luck.

Time is the only thing that will help you. It really sucks, and it's gonna be hard, but you gotta let yourself go through the grieving process. Being around people helped me. You don't wanna be alone all the time, that's not good for anyone!
I went to a grief support group and stayed 16 months when I lost someone very dear to me. I suggest that you try it out. You can contact a local hospitl, mortuary, or crisis center. They usually can refer you to a group. I'm sorry for your loss.
I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your grandma. I also lost my father suddenly. It's been 21 years, and I still cry for him. He was my best friend also. It's just going to take time to adjust to her not being there. There's not really much you can do. Just think about the good and happy times.
