What is the best state and area to live in for a middle wage familly?
Answers: I live in Southeast Missouri. We have a lot of farming but also alot of industrial and proffessional things. Lakes are close by, the river and lots of National Parks. The average income is like $45k for a family and that is considered upper middle class. Look for small towns close to cities you can have the best of both worlds. We are pretty much in the middle of St Louis and Memphis with 2 1/2 hours we can be at either one but we have our small town here where everyone is friendly and willing to lend a helping hand.

southeast Indiana is pretty cheap to live in
Kansas City is affordable. If you're an IT guy, it's so-so... middle of the road.
Believe it or not, the Kansas City, KANSAS side is the better place to live. Kansas City, Missouri is BAD.
It's also close to Lawrence, Kansas.. big time lib central. But an hour from that, you got godhatesfags in Wichita. Quite a contrast.
