Please help. Question about family water usage?
Question: I asked this in the Home forum but nobody is responding. I'm hopeing someone here can help. Anybody got an old water bill handy????
Here's my question form the other forum:
Our water bill is way higher than we think it should be (and higher than in past months). We thought we had a leak but we don't.
Can anybody tell me their actual gallon usage for incoming water (not outgoing sewage) for a family of 4. It's also okay if you have more or less people in your household, just please let me know how many so I can get a feel for average amount of use.
I think most water bills will say the exact amount of gallons per month.

Answers: if it is way higher than the last couple months then something has changed, being a leek or a change of habit. try to watch ur usage for a month or to, try to really cut back, if you don't see a change or its back to normal, you might have a leek. if not then make sure the isn't a water out let left on(outside or something). call the city and see if they can come check.
will for mine its around 115 a month and there is just 2 of us its by how many gallons u use like if u run wayter or water the lown that kind of thing it dose get pricey and i think they raised the price to why dont u call and ask them abou tthat
