Answers: DEPENDS ON WHAT AGE IS THE CHILD SND WHY IS THAT THE PARENTS DISLIKE THIS OTHER PERSON.
ASK FOR REASONS AND LISTEN DO NOT ARGUE.THEN MAKE A DEAL EITHER THAT PERSON CAN GO TO YOUR HOUSE AND PARENTS WILL KNOW BETTER HOW THIS PERSON IS. BUT PARENTS MUST REMEMBER THAT THEY WERE YOUNG TOO AND MAKE MISTAKES AND HERE THEY ARE
You're such a crappy parent that you have to go online to find out what to say to your own children?? That is sad.
Yes! If they feel the friends are unsuitable & bad companions, the parents have a duty to stop the child.
If the friend puts the child in danger, yes.
If they are under 18, one hundred precent yes. If you live under your parents house and you are a minor they can do what they want. They know what is best for you and they may or may not have their reasons. I was not a bad child, but my step sister was and she needed a few lessons. She got kick out of the house at 16 for getting knocked up and doing drugs and really everything our parents said she could not do,
Yes...and listen to phone conversations,go through drawers or whatever needs to be done to ensure the safty of your child!
Yes you live in their home....When you pay the bills then you can choose.....
If the kid lives in your house---ITS YOUR RULES!!
Should parents have the right ??? You mean DO PARENTS HAVE THE RIGHT...Damn straight right they do. As long as you're underage and still under their roof, they do and I believe they must have a damn good reason for putting that kind of restriction on you. ...anything you're not telling us because there's always two sides to a coin...
If they are under 18 and live inder your roof...I say you have the right (I hope you have good reason!) I excercise this right whenever necessary!
Yes .. especially when the person is questionable, or you feel would put your child at risk. Parents usually have their children's needs @ a top priority. We really do want what is best

not only is it our right but we have the obligation to protect our children, even if it is from them selves...... explain to them the whys and hows but stand firm..... there is a fine line between paranting and jailer tho..... so make sure, if child is older than 15, that you are not just hanging on to them for your own selfish reasons....... kids have to make mistakes and suffer the conseqinces to grow up...... God bless
If you are the child, yes, your parents have every right to tell you who you can and can not see. They are the parent and you are the child, end of story.
If you are the parent, yes you can tell your child(ren) who and who they can not see. You have a responsibility as a parent to protect your children. And, if you see that another child is toxic to you child, you have the responsibility to see to it that your child no longer hangs around the other child. You are the parent, they are the child.
Oh definitely. What seem like prefectly good kids may get attracted to bad people. Kids just aren't that smart. Heck, grown-up aren't that smart; otherwise there wouldn't be so many bad marriages.
This is not Court where we think of Rights. This is Familly. One should help his childrens to make there on dissions. Parents should discus with their child about his freinds. One should point out the positive and negative feature of his freind and let the child decide himself what is right & wrong for himself. Help the child to make his own decission.
of course its your child you have the right to do what ever you want whether its right or wrong, and honestly it did happen to me, my mother said to me please cut your relation with one of my friends a especial one not all my friends, I told her why she said to me she is not comfortable with this man so I did listened and I applied.
Some what. They do have some right to do so under circumstances.
Yes, if the friend is a bad influence and they are up to no good.
ever heard of free will??
Damn right they should. And they need to show the kid just who the hell is the boss around here.
