What would you do to someone if you caught them stealing from you?
Question: This happened to me by a neighbour who i considered to be a friend
Answers: Find out why they stole whatever they stole. Then, either call the police, or just lop off their hand. Either way, I'd find a new friend.

Depends on what they stole. If it was a pair of earrings I would chalk it off to a lesson learned and avoid the person in the future. If it was my car I'd send them to jail.
If they tried to steal the affections of my husband I'd laugh at them.
ban this person for life to ever set foot in your house again!! better yet get a nanny cam record an incident or two as a threat for future invasions!!
call the police
I would confront them about it and just ask them why they felt they had to steal and not just ask for whatever it was.
if what he was stealing was actually worth something, call the police and send his @$$ to jail
