if it's since your childhood. Like you grew up together. But if you have just met, in most cases there is no way. There is always smth behind.
Of course it can be a real friendship. Just because two people are the opposite sex, doesn't mean that they can't have a platonic relationship.

Oh I 100% believe that friendships can turn out to be something more! I married my best friend since grade school and my next door neighbor sort like in some of the movies you know! We are so much in love it hurts and I breathe every breath he takes and love him more every second of the day! So if you both are willing to give it a try go for it! I did and we are the happiest couple for sure!

YES you can be friends .I have alot of guy friends.I seem to get along better with them,and if i ever need help with anything when my husband isnt around they are there to help.like changeing a tire or stuff like that and i can get advise from them on stuff that my husband might like for holidays and they are always there for a sholder to cry on when i fight with my husband and need to vent.
