My boyfriend is acting odd...?
Question: he had an issue with his friend who got hurt. and hes been real upset about it. and my bf lives far away...but theres this guy here who is bothering me. and hes pissed about that too. and everytime we talk ehe says he needs to get out of his before he freaks. and he has a bad way of dealing with his anger. like punching stuff. what do i do? what do i say?
Answers: i learned the hard way with this kind of thing. my ex was like ur bf and just like a fire if he got pissed there was no way to calm him down i just had to let him settle down on his own like letting a fire die out. in the end i am sure it will all work out. good luck
Let him be for a few days and he will come around. Or he probaly just needs time to clear his head because of what's going on inside there he could be really concerned about his friend.
From a guy's perspective: your bf's friend was a close friend obviously. Maybe he's blaming himself that his friend got hurt, thinking that if only I'd been there, this wouldn't have happened . He's also being protective of you because of the guy that's bothering you. He may not know any other way of dealing with his anger. A verse in the Bible in one of the wisdom-stuffed books (Proverbs) says, ...a soft answer turns away wrath... It's very possible that your bf's dad might have dealt with anger by punching stuff and your bf is unconsciencely mimicing him.
