WHICH IS HARDER IN LOVE, LETTING GO OR HOLDING ON?
Question: I guess its harder to let go, especially if you're already attached to a certain person.Although i can still say that it hurts to hold on if the relationship is apparently not working, moreover if the person doesn't love you anymore...
Answers: I would say both. Letting go,if you truely love someone and you really don't want to break up with this person but he's ready, and you having all these memories of the things ya'll used to do together, the good and bad times, and now it's all washed away. Holding on plays basically the same factor. You're lying in your bed having sleepless and crying nights. You're holding on to the past, not willing to let it go, to hurt your heart even more than it already is. You're lokking at the phone, hoping that it will ring. Both is bad!
i think letting go and holding on run hand in hand you just need to set you mind to what will make your life better and run with it
I think its letting go that is a lot harder than holding on. You can hold on to someone and face the short emotional abuse than to let go and become an alcoholic (bad example but i have seen it happen).
Being in love with someone and wanting to spend the rest of your life with them but knowing that you just couldn't be with them forever or let them around future children. So all you can do is walk away and feel your heart crumble. But your life greatly improves because of the break.
I would def say holding on after you guys broke up.
Believe me is a lot harder to hold. I you do i would have to deal with that person and as the things are not working someone will get hurt. When you let go, well, it does hurt too but you don't have to see the person although you may miss it. who knows??
i think its definately harder to let go... even if your with someone and its hurting you to hold on b/c the relationship is a little screwed up... if you two do break up and you truly love the other person.. its still extremely hard to let go.
