After break up has anyone noted a rise in weight? illness....etc.?


Answers: Gaining weight is really common after a break up. Eating is a form of self-nurturance. And when we are unhappy...the first thing we do is lose interest in getting out and being active. So...we sit and mope...and eat cheetos and peanut-butter or chocolate and pop-corn...all that comfort food and...we gain weight...dramatically.

Yes...all the stress of fighting off being sad wears our immune system down...so we'll get sick too...especially if we aren't eating right.

So yes...gaining weight and being ill are natural consequences after a break up.

Usually the stress from a break up causes you to lose weight,but there are some people who gain weight because they feed their fears with food instead of confronting the issues.
HI breaking up affects people in different ways. some put weight on some loose weight. no one know until they go through a break up how it will make you feel. good luck for the future because there is one after a break up even if you don't feel like that now,
When i have broken up with people in the past i usually loose alot of weight as i get stressed and cant eat to upset, and i just dont feel hungry.
