Is it allowable by law to take into consideration your earned income tax credit into account for child support

Question: my ex and i have shared custody of our two children. He has them for two and i have them for two weeks. i went and took him for child support and the DRC of my area included my earned income credit and child tax credit into my yearly income.
Answers: thats bullcrap,magistrates suck
If it is income , something you get credit for, then yes, it should be considered when calculating child support.
You need to contact an attorney to determine the laws within your state. I have never heard of tax credits being considered part of a person's annual income. In your case, since you are suing for child support, the higher your income, the more the state will force your ex to pay. Usually.
Yes. In most states the Courts will figure in the amount you get credited on earned income credit to compute child support.
my husband's ex wife got MY earned income credit for when I had our child together, and I got squat out of it. The ex gets allll the money for ever the way it seems.
