Can you fall in love on the net without meeting them face to face?
Question: my husband has left me for a girl he met on the net and says he has feelings for her, he hadnt even met her, can he be in love with her? she lives in another country.
Answers: I think you confused alot of people and showed them how pathetic their idea of LOVE is. Chances are its not that your husband is in love but he very well might have feelings. Feeling SHOULD be based on personality and how you interact with someone. If he thinks hes in love then good for him but more than likely he is in love with the idea that some hot foreign chick is interested. The problem with meeting someone online is the same as in person, you never know what you might be getting yourself into. SO hopefully since your man left you for a mystery woman she will turn out to be morbidly obese and ugly and smelly and your hubby will come running back and you can slam the door in his face. thats what you'd do...Right!?!?!?
umnmm he might think he has a connection with her but things are easy on the internet and harder in person he'll come back to u and when he does slam the door in that pricks face! Im sorry for what your going through stay strong and find a new man for yourself
It happens all the time nowadays but yes its tough to understand
it's not really love, it's his own imagination/idea of what he would like it to be.
as harsh as it sounds, be glad such an idiot is gone.
Yep.. Happened to me.But she lived in the same state as me.
I don't think you can love someone without being in their presence, but you CAN develop a crush, and crushes can make you do stupid things. I'm sorry about your husband. This does happen quite a bit--you're not alone. I know that doesn't help. :(
NO you can not fall in love on the net. But, it's just as unfaithful. Drop kick him and move on. Good luck!
he may think hes in love but i doubt he actually is.
i dnt know wish that happens
I WOULD MEET HIM IN THE REAL WORLD AND BRING A PARENT ALONG FOR SATFLY
UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHhhh NO!
actually no he'll not go on.
this is a hard one. BUT yes. Just because the words are on a screen does not mean that they are not real.
You are on here seeking advice?.. It's not cheating LOL but you still will take into consideration what is said.
When someone is speaking to someone on the internet the feelings are very real and people can get really hurt as you have. I always make sure anyone i am interested in is single and that I know at least one mutual friend that can back that up . Another country is also possible. I myself have someone I care for and love deeply that I have never met and lives in England. We can never be unless one of us moves, but the feelings are there.
I hope this helps
Just as you can fall in love with someone within first meeting them, it's possible to fall in love without meeting someone face to face. The reason for this is b/c you fall in love with their personality (whether it's real or fake in real meeting) and the same with their description. It's possible, but be warned anyone can say anything online and turn out be a fake, or just front about the way they turly are.
Well meeting on the net u would feel a connection but real love only comes with time and meeting with that certain person.
It's possible. i interested in this lovely man Ive never seen in london. Iam a pretty girl haven't dated in a while just been working
i think that is just an excuse... how can you love someone you have never met? He could have fallen in love with her way of writing (like for an author of a book) but defenetely not for her body or her thighs if he has never met her. Shut his computer off take him for a vacation to italy for a week without access to a computer(he is addicted). Tell him to come back down here..to reality before he gets stuck into virtuality
no. i say this becuase i truly believe u can't really say u love someone until u have been with them a while and know them as a person. it takes a while to truly determine ur feelings. he is probably just saying he is in love to make himself feel better. more than likely he will meet her, stay with her a while, and then the lust will wear off. but don't take his *** back...he don't deserve it. he will probably leave again. seems like he falls in love to quickly.
Sure, you can fall in love on the net without meeting someone in person, but what you are in love with may be a completely different story. You may be in love with the idea of a person, rather than the actual person. You can't truly love someone unless you know them, that means in person, faults and all.
I am so sorry for you. Your husband is obviously very misguided, and should never have been talking to women on the net in the first place when he already has a wife.
He may have feelings for her based on the sheer mystery of it all. First of all, she lives in another country, which sounds pretty exotic in itself. Secondly, he hasn't met her, therefore he can project any ideal he likes onto her, and imagine that to be real, whether it is or not.
Regardless, he needs a huge reality check and you deserve a lot better than that.
Could be, I heard from some bodies many times and even reach meeting & marriage.
Yes, but not truly. Yes, because there is an emotional connection between the two people. They long to connect with each other because they make each other feel good. But, the love is probably not true, because many times, people on the internet do not portray their true self. Many times we act the way we think others want us to be, because in reality, we want that connection with somebody before we even talk to them. When somebody is easy to talk to, we allow ourselves to more vulnerable to strangers and many times, can make STUPID decisions based on possible lies.
Yes, it's possible. Sorry to hear about your situation.
IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED TO ME...ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO I MET SOMEONE ON-LINE...WE SPOKE ALL THE TIME...EITHER ON-LINE OR ON THE PHONE FOR ABOUT 10 MONTHS...WE HAD FALLEN IN-LOVE OVER THAT PERIOD OF TIME...WE MET FOR THE FIRST TIME AFTER THAT 10TH MONTH JUST TO MAKE SURE IT WAS FOR REAL...I LIVE IN TEXAS AND HE LIVED IN ALABAMA...1 MONTH LATER HE MOVED IN WITH ME THEN WE MARRIED A FEW MONTHS AFTER THAT..IT WAS AWESOME...ANYWAY..THINGS HAVE HAPPENED SINCE THEN...BUT I LOVED HIM VERY MUCH...SO..GOOD LUCK TO WHAT EVER COMES YOUR WAY..DEE
Yes and No. Yes if both parties were being their true selves - no if they were being even a little bit fake. You can be whoever you want on the internet and its hard to tell if that person is telling the truth or not. Most likely she wont be what he thought and he will come crawling back to you! Be strong and move on! You dont deserve him anyways!
yes, I fell for a girl online. It's been 3 years and I'm finally flying to see her next month. However, the fact that he did fall for her in that manner means that their were problems with your relationship before that anyway.
YES! I believe it could and has happened, Alot! Thays why i hate my husband talking on line all night long with women. If it was men ....mayb....but always a women. Next thing you know he will be getting her home fon and making plans to go see her,,so yes i believe it can happen.LUST anyway.....
I don't know if I would call it love, but feelings, yes. Let me try and explain. When you meet someone over the net, all you can really do is talk with them so you feel like(if you can trust they are being honest) that you really get to know them for who they are. People in relationship that live together seem to take for granted that they get to be near eachother and don't spend the same time communicating like they should. I am still finding out things about my husband that I didn't know before and we have been married for over a year. I felt like I knew my internet boyfriend (I dated over the net a few years back) like the back of my hand because all we cold do was talk for 4 months before we finally met. I'm not saying what you husband did was right, but thats how they can have feelings for eachother without actually knowing eachother.
Yes, you can fall in love with someone over the internet. I know there are lots of people that doesnt believe that but it is true. In ways you get to know that person from the inside out. Then when you meet them in person you already know if they are right for you. There are ways to know if the person that you meet on the net is for real. Check out their phone numbers. Get their drivers license and have a check run on it. Call them. Cam with them. People behind the computer screen are real and do have feelings. If someone is lying about who they are it doesnt usually take long to find out. Im sorry that your husband is suck a jerk. I dont think you should take him back. Good Luck with your situation.
