No - it ain't gonna happen. Worst is, she'll say I'm sorry, but I don't think that would work Most girls are really polite about it if you're sincere in your approach.
I'm not going to lie to you that for a lot of boys this is a very difficult thing to overcome. It sucks that a lot of boys don't have the confidence to approach a girl these days, while girls seem to be radiating confidence, but you're not going to get anywhere in life without confidence.
You can do it. You need to find the words to say that you want to do something fun together, and not necessarily any more than that.
And if she starts pointing and laughing, you have my permission to call her the C word.
