Girls crave excitement like its crack. They need it or they'll lose their freakin' minds. Decent guys usually do not have the capacity or desire to provide the girl with this kind of thrill because it is cheap. However, women (ages 29 and up) usually gets desensitized to this and they want to settle down with a family, with a DECENT guy. The mean and bad boy looses his glory and charm at around the time women grow out of that stage.

It's the guy with a backbone that puts his foot down and says no way Jose this is how it goes that makes a man attractive to a woman. It's biological. Males are a dominant species. Females are attracted to this kind of dominance. The only problem with being a jerk all the time is that you don't last long in a relationship. The best guy is a guy who has confidence and yet can be sensitive to her needs sometimes. It all comes down to give and take, mixing it up.
We always seem to go for the bad guy look. They don't seem that bad when we meet them, but then they let their true colors show as time goes on.
