Is it true that girlfriends always turn out like their mothers? I've heard this from numerous sources. Help!
Question: I realize this is a silly question upon first reading, but the more I think about it, the more merit it seems to have in my experience. I really like my girlfriend, but I wouldn't want to marry her if she becomes like her mother in 10 years. Anyone have any experience with this happening?
Answers: No. My wife turned out more like her father (personality-wise) than her mother. As for looks, it is a mix between the two.

Some characteristics will be similar to the mother...you really can't help this, but everyone has different tendencies, so you really have no way of knowing. People mistake me and my mother for twins all the time (not a bad thing) but I'm not very much like her in relation to personality and things like that. My mother looks nothing like her own mother but sometimes I can see how she may act or talk like my grandmother. Whether you're worried about her looks or how she is on the inside, you may just have to take the chance. I wouldnt worry too much about it.
