I'd be hesitant to go under 30, but I'm on the conservative side.

I think that 28 would be about the youngest you should be looking for. Girls before that are still very self centered and wanting to party.

If you are worried about what other people think of the two of you going out - I suggest you tell them to take a hike if they do not agree.
The absolute most fun relationship I had was with a girl many would have said was too young. But she was way ahead of her time. To heck with what anyone else thought.
(Please do not overlook there are certain laws about what you can do with someone under 18 in this country, and if you get caught breaking those at your age, you will be in a hip-deep pile of **** real fast.)
