Ideas for fun bridal shower games for 10 people? (Nothing crude please)?
Question: I am throwing a bridal shower for my friend that will be about 10 adults and some children as well. I am looking for fun ideas for the party. She is already having a bachelorette party and this is meant to be something classy, not lewd. Thanks!
Answers: Here are a few that I like from http://www.bridalshower.com
How well does the bride know the groom?
Ask the groom 20 or so questions about himself. At the shower, have everyone ask how well they think the bride knowes her groom. Have them write down how many of the questions they think she will get right.
Some question ideas are: What was his first pet and it's name? . His favorite....music group, color, and so on. How old was he when.... he had his first kiss, etc.
Clothespin Game
As each guest arrives, clip a clothespin to her clothing. If someone hears another person saying the word bride , she gets to take her clothespin. The player with the most pins at the end of the shower, gets a prize.
Finish the Proverb
As the hostess, you read half of a proverb and see who can complete it! Example: Love means never......having to say you are sorry. - It is better to have loved and lost.....than never to have loved at all. - All is fair.....in love and war.
What Was She Wearing
This game is simple and its actually played during the course of the Shower. At some point, the bride will exit the room and the guests have to name everything that the Bride-to-Be was wearing from head to toe and list those items on a sheet of paper. Whomever has all of the attire and accessories correct will win a prize.
Wedding Scramble
Write down as many words having to do with a wedding as you can think of. Then on another piece of paper scramble up the words that you thought of. Give everyone a paper with the scrambled up words on them. Give them 3 minutes to figure the words out. Whoever has figured out the most words is the winner!
Hunk-in-a-Balloon
You take a total of 25 balloons, [more or less depending on the amount of guest arrive] and put either a picture and/or description of a man inside the balloon. After the balloons have been blown up and passed around, each lady pops her balloon with a provided pin. The lady who finds the hunk or groom is the winner!
Twister is always good, so is scatagories and cranium. This will certainly be fun for everyone, oh how about SceneIt? The kids will love twister!
Good luck and have fun!
have a list of random items each given a point value, then give the ladies a time limit to search their purses for the items. whoever has the most points wins. it's fun and not necessarily naughty (depending what items you put on the list!) ex: lipstick: 2 pts each toothbrush: 5 pts it can be amazing to see what some people can pack in their purses!!
ok always do make uptalk about stuff an a couple of board games will do and music and have like a little spa and food enjoy ur party
Hmmmmmm if children are gonna be there that counts out most of my suggestions lol.
Ok......... get some balloons. inflate them and then put them on chairs. The idea is to bounce on them to pop them!! It can be hilarious especially if filled with a gooey substance!
Get some cheap wood, draw a bride on one and a groom on the other. Cut them out and attatch some string, on the other end of the string add a pole, and the idea of the game is to roll the string up, whilst pulling the bride or groom and see who makes it down the aisle first!!
Pin the veil on the bride........ a remake of the pin the tail on the donkey game.
Think of some bodily parts and list them on some paper. The idea of the game is to come up with slang words for the bodily parts............. eg. if you put penis, they would write down willy, twanger, todger......... that sort of thing. You will be surprised at some of the kids answers!!
Get a toilet roll........ split into groups and the first group to completely cover one person in the toilet roll is the winner.
Dig out some old photographs of everyone as babies, put them on a big board and guess whos the baby
All of the games above can include children so have lots of laughs.
The dice game usually goes over good. Two dice in a pie tin, any doubles gets a prize. raid the dollar stores for cool cheap prizes!
My MIL had some games.
Game 1. Price is right- Go to vons, buy a bunch of different stuff, and have people guess the retail value. Whoever with the most right, wins
Game 2. Complete the phrase- Commercial phrases for say lays potato chips you can't just have blank and have them complete them. whoever with the most wins.
Game 3. Just for the bride- Get the groom to answer 10 personal questions about himself before the shower like what is your favorite super hero? At the shower, put the bride infront of everyone, and ask her what he would have said. Everytime she gets one wrong, give her a piece of bubbleicious. It is a crack up
I got three wrong in game 3- my mouth was full....so don't make the questions too easy! Not to hard either, not many girls can get 10 pieces of bubblicious in their mouth. Out of all of the games, that was the funnest!
Good Luck!!
We had a neat game at mine, take pieces of paper and write down things that would pertain to the wedding like cake, ring, flowers, flower girl, (your know what I mean ?) then tape the paper on a guest and have the other guest give clues to what the answer is and the one with the paper has to guess the answer. And who ever was the one who got the guesser to guess the answer is the next player , that way everyone gets to play.
the way we do the cloths pin game is to give one to each, then if they cross their legs you get their pin
