How were you proposed to?
Question: How were you proposed to or how would you want to be proposed to?
Answers: i came home from work and the christmas tree had been put up with the lights on, etc. i walked over to it to check it out and saw a box on the top of the tree near the tree topper. he asked, i said yes, so now we're getting married in 138 days!
I was proposed to in bed. Some think that this isn't very romantic but how can being asked to marry someone not be romantic! I wouldn't change the way it was done. Oh and of course I said yes!
i would propose a girl by taking her on a beach and giving her a rose
nothing special...just the traditional way...got down on one knee, and asked me to marry him! so simple, but was the best day of my life
The first time my man said, we've got a kid and you need to help me get my papers so I can stay. The second time my man said I might to go to jail, so lets get married so you can visit me and wait for me while I'm gone. Can I run screaming naked down the street now? I haven't had much romance in my life. Or real love.
this is sad and funny at the same time my bf and i got in a really big fight and i wanted to leave and stuff. I don't remember what the fight was about but i do remember the ending of it. He told me that he wanted to marry me and that's why he was acting kinda weird and stuff like that he was going to ask me on the computer and then be there with a wedding ring and be behind me on one knee but instead we yelled and screamed at each other and then he said i want to ******* marry is that OK
My ex asked me in a parking lot and I said YES.
So we got married but now we're divorced!
So...make sure the guy puts the effort into it cuz it relects how much effort he'll put into the marriage.
I had my dream engagement, and he did it himself!
My fiance and I went to Disney World last April and he took me to eat at Cinderella's Royal Table (a very nice restaurant inside Cinderella's castle) and I was so excited because I am a complete Cinderella lover!
We sat at our table and about half way through he got up and said he had to go to the bathroom. About 10 minutes later, our waitress came to the table with a square plate over her head and said, We have something special for our princess .
She put the plate in front of me and when I looked down there was a small, real glass slipper that was engraved A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes and it was surround by yellow and orange rose petals. Inside the shoe there was a small yellow rose bud, and around it was my ring.
He asked me to marry him, and I said yes. Then the waitress brought out two large plates and set them down and it was white chocolate Cinderella slippers (one for each of us) filled with chocolate moose and around the outside of my plate it said in chocolate Will you marry me? .
We had a champagne toast with our own special toasting glasses and then got to watch the fireworks.
To this day I can't believe something like that happened to me, it blows my mind. It's a life story I will always have to remember.
