I'd go with navy blue and cream
Navy blue and gold would look very nice together and so would burnt orange and chocolate brown. What time of year are you getting married and at what time of day? Those are factors as well.
Choco brown , gold and garnet would be very pretty ,, you could just use the gold as an accent
I would go dark, when I got married last June I did black with rhinestone's and all the girls had different dress on.
I like chocolate brown and garnet.
Chocolate brown and gold would look amazing together!
These are dark colors, so I'm assuming this will be a Fall or Winter wedding. You ask which ones look best together, so are you saying your bridesmaid's will wear different color gowns? And do you want them to match the usher's tux or his bow tie/cumberbund?
I like the KISS rule, keep it simple :-)
I myself am also getting married and I have just finished a delema like this myself. It is difficult. If you want my opinon I would say navy blue with the burnt orange, cream with the chocolate brown and gold with the midnight blue. But make sure you do not have too many colors because then it will take their eye off the cente of attention. YOU
Good Luck
navy blues and cream - maybe a touch of gold
The 2 blues seem like they might be too close together. I'm getting a good feeling and picture of seeing the midnight blue and choc. brown and then the cream (which is always elegant) and garnet or the orange depending on the time of year and the surroundings. Personally I love the color orange and can wear it with my red hair, but most people especially men don't wear it well or like it for that matter. Having gone through a wedding myself and really wanting that perfect romantic wedding...unfortunately I've found that not much of it is even for you (the bride/groom) and its all just for everybody else in a sense! So run your idea by all the men and others in the party. Also, try to set some sort of small display up using the colors, take a look at it, and then also take pictures and view that look as well. since we all tend to look and think differently after the fact (hind sight). Good luck and just remember the prize is what the two of you will share after that ONE day!
Maybe you should go into a wedding shop and ask to look at the dresses that they have. That might give you a good idea of what looks good together. They should also have swatch cards where you can put the colours together.
I know Alfred Angelo do lots of Bridesmaids colours. Maybe you could look at their website www.alfredangelo.co.uk
I like chocolate brown and cream. I'm planning a wedding too, and I use theknot.com as a helpful resource. They help you find vendors and planners in your area. They are also good about giving advice on real weddings as opposed to magazine ones.
The navy blue and cream would go together the best in my opinion.
here's a couple websites that might help:
www.theknot.com
www.davidsbridal.com
Hope that this helps you out in someway.
brown with orange is too fall harvest for my tastes, although I do like chocolate brown with cream for a less formal wedding. Gold & Garnet is very elegant and formal, and either of the blues with cream would be pretty as well, a little less formal.
chocolate brown and a light yellow...
and use sunflowers
Brown for a wedding? Really? I don't see brown as a very wedding colour, I'm sorry. It's just to reminiscent of the 70's for me! Blues and cream are always very classy, but in the end it's your wedding and you should go with the colours you like the best.
