Love or arrange marriage ?which is the best?&why you say so?

In a love marriage, you get to know the person very well before marriage, over a period of time. However, the flip side is not much is known about the other family members and your adaptability to them. Parental acceptance can be quite tricky. In love marriage, the person is more important, so U seldom think of future financial security, and long term compatibility. Also, as the choice is essentially made by 2 persons and thrust on the families, the entire burden of making it a success falls on the 2.
In an arranged marriage, as all members of both family are involved, there is a collective responsiblity to make the marriage a success. In the concept of arranged marriage, all socio-economic factors are well considered, thereby ensuring a smoother life after marriage. Even in arranged marriages, you are allowed to meet your prospective partner and generally the choice is made which in in tune with your wishes. In such an ideal scenario, My vote is for Arranged Marriage , for it will result in Love between the 2 persons.
The obvious answer is love, but we all don't have that luxury. In an arranged marriage situation, I guess you have to make the best of what you have.
i'm from india..n here though love marriages r totally acceptable they are still a risky proposition...u kno we have a saying that marriages r not between two people..they are between two families...keeping that in mind...wid arranged marriages somehow u can always fall back on ur family for support if things don't work out or if u have some problems..smhw in love mariages u r all alone with very minimal support n help..its ur decision and belief in the end..no matter what

love, but there has been many marriages that were long lasting and fruitful that where arranged... but for happiness, emotional satifaction love is the obvious answer.
i think both can work. it depends on the effort the couple puts into the marriage. all love marriages dont last, neither do all arranged marriages.
