Whats the best way to plan a wedding? By yourself, or use a wedding planner?
Question: Im getting married next June and I would really like to know which is better.
Answers: I personally would do it myself. Have friends and family help where they can and search on the internet there are so many awesome ideas out there. But start early so you aren't stressed the final few months.
You can have a beautiful wedding without spending a fortune. Save the money for a house or honeymoon.

Wedding planners (In Chicago, anyway) cost up to 12,000.00 alone!!!
Try planning it by yourself, and with the help of family and friends. If you need help with any suggestions, I would try calling them(wedding planner) - just to see if they know any people. If that makes any sense at all.
It depends. i think it is better to plan it with your spouse. if you have to use a wedding plnner, do. but do not try to plan it without your soon to be spouse
It depends on your wedding complexity.
How many guests are you planning to have? Are you busy enough to plan the wedding?
If you're getting married next June (I assumed this coming June) that means that you only have 3 months to prepare. How's your preparation so far? Did you get most of your vendors?
If you can say I've done 70% of wedding preparation, I can say that you don't need a wedding planner, otherwise you need one.
Well, congrats on your wedding and happy planning!
Planners. . .wedding planners can cost as little ast 500 dollars and as much as 15000 dollars. For full event planning, it averages around 1500 dollars. Just for day off planning it averages around 800. It really does depend on your budget. A planner will know exactly all the rules of ettiquette and what is legal where. if you go to the ABC (Association of Bridal Consultants) website, you can find people to help you!
i would plan it yourself and your family. it is a lot cheaper. wedding planners are extremely expensive
if you cannot take a leave from work, wedding planners sure comes handy but you must be ready for extra financial cost. You must be aware that not all wedding planners are good and not all wedding planners are affordable.
If you have all the time in the world to plan your wedding, i suggest you do it yourself for a more personal touch, and in that way you can make sure everything will turn out just the way you want it... and don't forget to ask for help from your close friends for suggestions and comments.(or ask Yahoo Answers!)
GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATULATIONS!
Im planning my wedding by myself. I suggest if you have the cash use a wedding planner. It will save you the headaches and stress.
If you want a simple wedding, you can do it yourself. If you want some extravagent affair with lots of details to tend to, a planner is the way to go. I would suggest a wedding planning book, like Emily Post's, to help you consider multiple possiblilites
Don't waste your money on a planner. You've got plenty of time (assuming it's 2007 you're getting married), so recruit some good friends to help you along in the process!
