Getting married and we would like a good friend to marry us is there a website he can visit for certification?
Question: i am aware that there are ways to gain certification to perform civil marriages, and i've heard it done before. unfortunatly i am unaware of these websites, or ways to go about having my friend register.

It might be quite difficult to obtain registration for him to do just your wedding - I think he needs to become a fully fledged registrar. Could he not be the Best Man - I'm sure if he's a friend of you both he'll make an excellent one!
