Any suggestions for wedding colors for a wedding planned for the beginning of september?
Question: This is my second wedding, so I plan on wearing a pink colored dress. I also like silver decorations.
Answers: The pink and the silver are fabulous colors, but because it is September how about chocolate-brown as a complementary color.
If you are having truffles as a favor in a silver box with pink ribbon or chocolate related favors.
A chocolate brown guest book with pink ribbon and pen set.

pink and green go well together. Pink and chocolate also looks lovely. either way, go with what you want. I'm getting married october 2007, and my colors are sage and lilac as the accent color. yes, it's not typically fall, but it's our wedding, and we both like the color green, so there. :) congrats and good luck!

Peach & Ivory would be so pretty for a September wedding but since you already have a pink dress on your mind and silver decorations. Throw in a Maroon/Burgundy color...what color is the groom wearing?
pick your favorite colors out and go with it.
For my wedding I did silver decorations and pink for the bridesmaid dress so I like the colour theme you have going. You could do silver dresses for the bridesmaids too. That would stay with the colours and look very nice too. Too many colour may complicate things and just throw everything off. If you want to do another colour though, keep it kind of light. Beginning of September is still pretty early and warm to do anything too dark. Best wishes.

I certainly wouldn't pick pink and silver for a fall wedding, but you are the bride, it's up to you. I'd like chocolate brown/taupe/ivory colors, my opinion.
I love second time brides due to the fact they are not afraid to buck convention and just go for it. Like another respondant said, greens are great. Since you are getting into fall, keep the green rich to compliment the pink. Kiwis, sages, and celadons are light yet bold and would be a great addition. If you do fancy silver, have the florist affix the floral portion of the boutineers (sp)to a silver stem. You can also have the bouquets placed in silver tussies for the ladies. It seems chocolate and burnt orange dominate the fall season, so rest assured, you will have a unique color selection for your day. Good luck!
